Reports are that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is engaged in a massive, covert military buildup. An article in the Associated Press in February confirmed an open purchase order by DHS for 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition.
According to an op-ed in Forbes, that’s enough to sustain an Iraq-sized war for over twenty years. DHS has also acquired heavily armored tanks, which have been seen roaming the streets. Evidently somebody in government is expecting some serious civil unrest. The question is, why?

An unusually large number of high-profile earthquakes sprung up across the globe over the weekend, causing extensive damage to a roadway in Mexico and leaving residents shaken in southern Europe, Egypt and the U.S.
Saturday, an earthquake near the Mexico – U.S. border collapsed chunks of this 300-yard stretch of highway. (Via CNN)

Most of what this video shows has not been released to the general public. Most of what this video tells is horrific, and also leads one to think that perhaps the earthquake in Japan was truly a judgment unleashed by God.
It was Zephaniah’s lot to speak on the most unpleasant subject in the Bible — the judgment of God. This is not the only place where this theme occurs, of course, but it is the most concentrated treatment of the judgment of God as the whole book is devoted to this one theme.
There are many people who would like to rule this subject of judgment out of the Bible entirely. There are those who tell us that the God of the New Testament, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, is the kind of a God who can never move in judgment. His heart is so tender, his love is so gracious, his patience is so infinite that there never will be a time when God will move in vengeance….if you believe that, your sadly mistaken.
Palestinian sources tell Saudi daily that negotiators will need to make tough decisions in coming weeks
The pension nightmare that is at the heart of the horrific financial crisis in Detroit is just the tip of the iceberg of the coming retirement crisis that will shake America to the core. Right now, more than 10,000 Baby Boomers are hitting the age of 65 every single day, and this will continue to happen every single day until the year 2030.
As a society, we have made trillions of dollars of financial promises to these Baby Boomers, and there is no way that we are going to be able to keep those promises. The money simply is not there. Yes, I suppose that we could eventually see a “super devaluation” of the U.S. dollar and keep our promises to the Baby Boomers using currency that is not worth much more than Monopoly money, but as it stands right now we simply do not have the resources to do what we said that we were going to do.
The Lord uses people in many ways, and sometimes when he uses us, we don’t even realize he is doing it…
I am shocked at this one, and you will be too..
Could 2014 be a historical year of Siberian Cold and no Summer? Sound crazy? In 1816 it happened, and was recorded in documented history as being the year of no summer. Crops failed due to snow in June, July, and August, with freezing temperatures. Experts agree..with the recent rash of Volcano eruptions around the world, and the drastic changes in our climate and eco system, God could be preparing the world for the coming tribulation period, and the return of Christ…where famine and pestilences are the new normal.
The U.S. is running its fourth consecutive $1+trillion deficit. Our Deficit to GDP ratio is nearly 10%. Our “official” Total Debt to GDP is well over 100% though when you include the debt hidden in various Government entities and unfunded liabilities we’re well over a Debt to GDP ratio of 300% at this point.
To put these numbers into perspective, Greece had a Deficit to GDP ratio of 12% and a Debt to GDP ratio of 150% when it first entered its sovereign debt crisis. It’s since seen a GDP collapse of 20%: one of the largest economic collapses worldwide in the last 30 years.
Of course, you cannot simply compare economies by just two numbers. The U.S. has many advantages Greece does not, including:
The Implosion of America
If you have ever watched a building being destroyed by implosion, you know that it is a engineering marvel on how they do it. When large buildings are built and blue prints are drawn to support the construction of that building, super computers and the minds of intelligent men are used to build these structures.
While the building is built and engineered, structural weak points are discussed and reinforced or designed to be strengthened so that damage would not come to a building should some kind of force be it natural or act of war, come against it.
This takes careful planning, and design.
America was also built by the hands of men and women throughout it’s history to withstand and be strong against outside forces be it natural or foreign.
