The Messiah Complex President Obama's Quest for Sainthood

The Messiah Complex is a state of mind in which the individual believes he/she is, or is destined to become, a savior. The messiah complex does not appear in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM)[1]

Some experience the messiah complex through delusions of persecution, in which some believe they are to be sacrificed in a manner resembling the crucifixion of Jesus. Delusions of persecution indicate severe mental illness that is not properly medicated.

Does President Obama have this disorder?

“I come not to bring peace, but to bring a sword.” — Jesus; Matthew 10:34

“I didn’t come here to do the same thing we’ve been doing or take small steps forward. I came here to provide sweeping change.”  – Barack Obama, March 1, 2009.

I’m anything but a Christian scholar, but when, watching Morning Joe , I heard Barack Obama in his weekly address the weekend of March 9th, 2009 making the statement above, it rang a New Testament bell with me.  A bit of Googling revealed the words set forth from the Gospel of Matthew.

I see some eerie similarities. Is it just me, or might our president be taking all this Messiah talk seriously?

On December 1st, 2009 at 8pm EST President Obama will address the nation regarding the additional troops being sent to Afghanistan. Our country is so far in debt, and it's getting deeper by the second. Click on the debt clock graphic below....your in for a shock.

Can it be true that this President really thinks he's doing the country a favor by running up the deficit, imposing new taxes that will place Americans, especially the Middle Class, on skid row to redistribute the wealth to third world countries? America you need to wake up...Get your hearts right with God, get your mind clear and focus on the principles this country was founded on, and vote to keep our Constitution alive before it's too late.....
